flatex is the online broker of flatex AG. It was started in April of 2006. flatex AG is a financial service provider, authorised according to §32 of the Banking Act of the Federal Republic of Germany (Kreditwesengesetz, KWG) to operate as an investment/acquisition agent and asset manager. flatex operates through its online portal www.flatex.de and offers securities trading at low standard order fees ("execution only business"). The security orders are executed by a deposit bank authorised for keeping accounts and investment portfolios. This bank is biw AG, located in Willich. It facilitates trading on Xetra, all German trading floors, EUREX, T.I.Q.S., XOL, Tradegate, selected European stock markets (e. g. Euronext) as well as Canadian and American stock exchanges. Furthermore there are links to more than 20 well-known issuers in over-the-counter trading. |
