Competes for WRT in the GT3 European Championship Next Weekend

Two weeks after the final race of the ADAC GT Masters season at the Hockenheimring Christopher Haase will compete for the Belgian Audi Club team WRT in the European GT3 Championship (FIA GT3) in an AUDI R8 LMS next weekend. He will share the cockpit with the young Belgian, Enzo Ide (20) who is in 5th place in the championship with 75 points. In theory he still has a chance of winning the title.

Haase recently won the runner-up title in the German GT Championship. He scored 37 points and the second place, only one point behind champions Ferdinand and Johannes Stuck, with his extraordinary performances in two VLN races at the Nürburgring, five ADAC GT Masters races and the 24h race at the Nürburgring.

Christopher Haase:
“It was quite a good season for me. With my success in the series influencing my standing in the German GT Championship I achieved good results and won the runner-up title. It should have worked better in the ADAC GT Masters championship. I want to thank team Phoenix for my success. They always did a great job and I really liked working with them.

I am happy about the opportunity to support team WRT and Enzo (Ide) in the FIA GT3 European Championship in the Audi. WRT is a great team, they do an excellent job and have won several times. We want to score as many points as possible.

The track in Zandvoort is new for me. I have prepared myself by analysing videos and I want to walk the track to get to know it better.

In November I will support team DKR www-discount.de in a Lamborghini Murcielago 670 R-SV in South America. It is a great opportunity for me and I want to thank the team for making it possible for me”.

In November Christopher Haase will start in the FIA GT1 World Championship. Team DKR www-discount.de provided him with the opportunity to compete in the last race of the season which Haase gratefully accepted. He will compete in a Lamborghini Murcielago 670 R-SV in San Luis, Argentina from November 4th – 6th.
