Preview of Round 3 of the ADAC GT Masters in Zolder

ADAC GT Masters
Zolder, Belgium
June 10th - 12th, 2011

Christopher Haase . ADAC GT Masters 2011 . AUDI R8 LMSThe time has finally come. About 40 GT3 dream sports cars compete in the ADAC GT Masters series for a podium place again. Next weekend the German GT series will enter Belgian territory. The 4km (2.5 miles) long track has a lot to offer with regard to its route. Long sections through forest complement sophisticated chicanes and technically demanding turns.

“I am looking forward to Zolder. I succeeded there before. The circuit offers a beautiful natural track. However, I will not dare to make a prediction. There are still a lot of cars competing and we will concentrate on the qualifying sessions for the moment.

Cars with a high cylinder capacity and high torque could have an advantage on this track. We will see in the practice sessions,” says Christopher Haase who won the 2009 GT3 European Championship in Zolder.

Christopher Haase will share an Audi R8 LMS with Swede Andreas Simonsen and compete for Phoenix Racing Pole Promotion. “We have gone through a great development process together and we are excited to see what the weekend brings. I also watched Phoenix competing in the DTM series in Spielberg. Congratulations to Martin Tomczyk and Phoenix Racing on their great start-finish victory,” says Christopher Haase.

The races on Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast live on Kabel1.
